Always an interesting time here. Local neighborhood bar with cheap strong drinks. Occasionally they have live music which, when they do, is usually unbelievably good! Staff are really friendly here as well.
Late night can get a little sketchy around here so you have to be a little mindful of your surroundings. It is not uncommon for the police to show up as their is usually some questionable activities happening outside, but generally I feel completely safe here.
During the warmer times they have a nice outdoors back area. Definitely recommend a visit here to get a feel for a real nitty gritty local New Orleans local bar scene.

If you're ever in New Orleans, make sure Verret's Lounge is on your list of places to visit! This hidden gem has a great local vibe, amazing service, and a laid-back atmosphere that feels authentically NOLA.
I highly recommend trying Malört while you're there--it was my favorite! If you're up for something unique, it's a drink you won't forget.

We met Sugar Daddy and I found my twin. We both think a good 18" is where it's at!!! Highly recommend! If you get a chance, stop in!

We had a nice little break from the parades in here. Clean free bathrooms, good drinks, friendly staff. Service can be a little laid back but I don't really mind. They put out a king cake for everyone to share which was a nice touch. I felt like I was among friends there!
